The Opportunity 
 
As part of our Customer Service team, the Customer Support Consultant will ensure the needs of the customer are actively identified to provide them with the best possible outcome. 
 
This position is responsible for taking overall ownership of customers’ enquiries relating to deliveries, warranties, non-warranties, service call-outs and other general enquiries. From first touch through to resolution across voice and digital channels, the Customer Support Consultant’s mission is to deliver exceptional customer support, guiding customers through the entire lifecycle while resolving any issues that arise on this journey.

Ideally you will come from a retail, hospitality, manufacturing, appliances, logistics, call centre or front facing customer service background - although we are very happy to train you. 
 
Core Responsibilities 
  • Deliver professional and empathetic customer support via phone and email. 
  • Answer customer enquiries within a timely and accurate manner 
  • Understand client's needs, build rapport, and foster a positive customer relationships. 
  • Communicating issues to various departments 
  • Create and manage customer orders, service call outs and warranty claims 
  • Inform and educate customers on our products and services 
  • Provide thorough solutions to customer issues 
  • Capture and process customer interaction information 
  • Set clear time frames and expectations on when responses will be received and followed up 
  • Attend training, maintaining up to date and relevant knowledge on products, services, and policies 
  • Provide a wide range of support to other team members and departments 
About you: 
  • You will have a positive and fun disposition with a great smile and flexibility to get in and do what needs to be done 
  • The ability to work within a high volume and dynamic environment 
  • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities 
  • Computer literate with experience and or ability to work with a CRM  
  • High attention to detail and able to problem solve, resolve issues, and think on your feet to deliver the best outcome 
  • A team player who is collaborative and adaptable to assist the greater team when required 
  • Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask and effectively time manage 
  • Be self-driven and able to work autonomously or in a team environment 
  • Outstanding relationship building, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills will be key in this role
