King Living recently hosted an exclusive event celebrating the launch of our collaboration with internationally acclaimed photographer and artist Nick Leary.
Hosted at a chic Sydney space, guests were treated to an evening of drinks and canapés surrounded by the sophisticated shots captured by Leary. Steve Cordony, interior stylist added his personal flair, styling a number of elegant furniture vignettes, featuring the brand new Zaza in a gorgeous pearl, as well as King Living classics such as the King Boulevard and the Delta III upholstered with a contemporary palette in mind.
The night opened with CEO Anna Carrabs introducing the collaboration and the synergies between King Living and Nick Leary, including his creative process and time working through the King Living archives. Nick Leary then spoke about how King Living and his own brand were quite similar:
“What aligned me with King Living was our common ethos of the pursuit of perfection."
Nick Leary
The bespoke art series was inspired by the King Living archives and its history, as well as Leary’s love of the Australian spirit and story. Leary also noted that King Living’s craftsmanship and quality resonated with him greatly, and these sentiments are communicated in the collection.
“Having the opportunity to explore what I love... and create... is a joy."
